Practise on the real thing first

A PETET mock test is a full practice paper. It opens the same exam player, runs the same countdown timer, uses the same question palette and the same Save & Next buttons as the real test. The only difference is the questions: mocks are drawn from a separate practice question bank, so a mock can never show you a question from the real paper.

Most candidates lose marks on their first computer-based test for reasons that have nothing to do with what they know — running out of time, not finding the review button, panicking when the screen changes. One mock removes all of that.

You get your score the moment you submit, along with the correct answers and explanations, so you know which subject to revise before you book the real paper.

Mock tests are optional

Nothing here is compulsory. When you press Start PETET Exam on your dashboard, we show you the mock options once — and one of the buttons on that screen is Skip & Continue to PETET. Choose it and you go straight into the real paper.

What skipping a mock does not cost you

Your PETET score, your rank, your percentile and your scholarship eligibility are decided entirely by the real paper. A candidate who takes no mock at all and a candidate who takes every mock are judged by exactly the same rule.

Take them in any order: Free first or premium first — it makes no difference.
Take them any time: Before the real paper only. Once you take PETET, the mock prompt stops appearing.
Different questions: The mock bank and the real bank are kept completely separate.
No effect on merit: Mock scores are never published, ranked or shown to any college.
